Question: I am thinking about retiring and was thinking about going to the USA. How is the situation with the Retirement Visa coming along?
Answer: Every year for as many as I can remember there has been talk of retirement Visas being issued in the USA. In fact people have bought properties believing that these will be issued shortly. They never have and they will not be issued in the near future. You can never say never, but it looks unlikely that retirement visas for the United States will ever be issued – despite what you may have been told. Unfortunately some buyers will believe what they want to hear and are disappointed when that thing does happen. Do not believe anything until it actually happens.
